FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many speakers does an event need?

It depends on audience width and depth, programme type, ambient noise and the desired coverage consistency. In long rooms, delay lines are often more important than extra level at the stage.

How do I know whether subwoofers are needed?

They may not be needed for speech. DJ sets, music, live bands and show content usually benefit from dedicated low-frequency systems.

Can I rent only two speakers?

Yes, for compact tasks. We still confirm the venue, sources, stands, mixer, cabling and whether technical support is needed.

Is a sound engineer included?

An engineer is recommended for complex programmes, multiple microphones, DJs, artists, recording or streaming and can be included in the project.

Can the system be used outdoors?

Yes. Outdoor design requires more headroom and consideration of wind, area, noise limits, power and safe equipment placement.

What are delay speakers?

They are additional speakers placed deeper in the room or in separate zones. Their signal is time-aligned so sound arrives together with the main stage system.

Can you integrate venue equipment?

Yes, after checking compatibility, condition, signal levels, routing and safe power.

When is a separate system tech required?

A dedicated system engineer is recommended for large PAs, multiple zones, delay lines, complex geometry or mission-critical shows.

How is a flown or ground-supported PA selected?

The decision depends on venue geometry, height, audience layout, confirmed rigging points, permitted loads and the coverage target. The final topology is fixed only after venue information is reviewed.

What is planned for a power or signal failure?

For critical events, backup of key nodes, an alternate signal route, switchover procedure and responsible technicians are defined in advance. The redundancy level depends on the event format and project risk.

What is included in PA system tuning?

Polarity and connection checks, routing and level setup, alignment between zones, basic system correction and control at several audience positions. Final tuning is completed on site.

How is sound level controlled during the event?

The sound engineer manages levels according to the programme and venue limits. For sensitive venues, control points, operating mode and communication with the venue representative are agreed in advance.

Can sound levels be logged during the event?

Yes. For venues with restrictions, the control points, log format, responsible specialist and escalation process are agreed in advance. The venue or authorised party defines the measurement type and permitted values.

How is audience coverage uniformity checked?

After deployment, the system is checked at several audience positions: front, FOH, rear and additional zones. Intelligibility, tonal balance, timing and zone consistency are reviewed. Final tuning can only be completed on site.
