FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before renting stage lighting.

What lighting is needed for a conference?

Usually a balanced key light for speakers, a clean stage wash and branded accents. The final system depends on stage size, cameras and venue lighting.

Can lighting be used outdoors?

Yes. We select fixtures and cabling for the conditions and account for weather, distances, mounting positions and power.

Is a lighting operator included?

For any event with a programme and scene changes, an operator is strongly recommended. They run lighting to cues, music and direction.

Do you programme lighting in advance?

Yes. Key scenes and transitions are prepared before the event, then focusing, adjustments and rehearsal are completed on site.

Can lighting be synchronised with music and video?

Yes. We coordinate timing with the director, DJ, performers and video team and build cue lists for complex numbers.

Are installation and dismantling included?

Yes. Delivery, installation, focusing, show operation and dismantling are included in the technical proposal.

Are truss and rigging points required?

It depends on the venue. We can use existing points, floor stands or separate structures approved within the technical plan.

How early should lighting be booked?

A small event may require only a few days if equipment is available. Concerts, launches and complex shows should be planned several weeks ahead.
